Karelia Recover for Odoo: customer deductions and short-paid invoices, one case each
When a customer pays less than the invoice, someone has to find out why and get the money back. Karelia Recover keeps each short payment as a case in Odoo, and counts money as recovered only when a new payment shows it.

What Karelia Recover does
Find the exceptions
Short-paid customer invoices are proposed as cases for review, or imported from normalized deduction rows.
One owner, one deadline
Each case gets a reason, a responsible user and a deadline.
Evidence in one place
The original invoice and supporting files stay linked, together with the decision to accept or challenge the deduction.
Real recovery
Accepted deductions are kept apart from cash that a newly matched payment actually brought back. A case summary can be printed.
Good to know
- The CSV import uses a documented, normalized format. Reading PDF or EDI files and retailer portals is not part of this release.
- Odoo Online can't install custom Python add-ons, so it needs Odoo.sh or your own server.
