Pricelist by Product Tag for Odoo: one price rule for every product with a tag
Odoo pricelist rules target a product, a variant, a category or everything. Pricelist by Product Tag adds product tags: one rule gives every product with any of its tags its price in quotations, sales orders and eCommerce, and at the Point of Sale till with the free companion module. Tag rules rank between product and category rules, so prices set per product keep winning.

What Pricelist by Product Tag does
Tags as a rule target
Pick one or more product tags instead of a product or category. Every product with any of them gets the rule.
Odoo's own priority
Variant, product, product tag, category, all products. A product's own rule still wins over its tag.
Everything a rule can do
Discounts, fixed prices and the other price types of your Odoo version, minimum quantities and validity dates.
Variant tags count
Tags on a single variant are included, so one colour or size can get the outlet price.
Sales, eCommerce and the till
Quotations, sales orders and the shop use tag rules right away; the free companion module brings them to the Point of Sale.
Safe at the till
With Point of Sale installed, tag rules can only be saved once the companion is there. Uninstalling removes tag rules instead of making them global.
Good to know
- Tag rules are listed on the pricelist, not in the price list shown on each product.
- The Point of Sale needs the free companion module Pricelist by Product Tag - Point of Sale.
- Odoo Online can't install custom Python add-ons, so it needs Odoo.sh or your own server.

FAQ
Does it change my existing pricelist rules?
No. Product, variant, category and global rules work as before; tag rules are an extra kind of rule.
What if a product has the tag and its own rule?
The product's own rule wins, as Odoo always prefers the most specific rule.
Does it work in eCommerce?
Yes. The shop uses the same pricelist computation as quotations.
