What Karelia CylinderCheck does
Account and site apart
Record the agreed tariff, opening statement and cylinder class per supplier account and delivery location, so a return at one site doesn't quietly clear another site's rent.
Whole-month rule
Opening holdings and chargeable additions form the monthly basis. Returns reduce later holdings, and a same-class exchange is recorded separately.
Checked against the bill
Compare a completed month with the selected vendor bill line and keep the review evidence in a printable discrepancy record.
Credit kept separate
Posted supplier credits are matched separately from the finding. Changed or reversed sources need attention instead of leaving false savings on screen.
Good to know
- This release supports one whole-calendar-month tariff. Daily or annual tariffs, free-rental periods, automatic invoice discovery and live supplier connections are outside it.
- A difference is an audit finding for review, not a guaranteed refund, and posted credit is not cash received.
- Odoo Online can't install custom Python add-ons, so it needs Odoo.sh or your own server.
FAQ
Will a mid-month return lower that month's charge?
Not under the supported tariff: the return month stays chargeable and the return changes later holdings. Check your supplier's actual terms first.
Does it connect to BOC or another gas supplier?
No. There is no supplier affiliation or live connection. You enter the documented account and movement evidence.
Is a bottle exchange counted as an extra rented bottle?
No. A same-class exchange is recorded separately from an increase in holdings.
