QueryScope: SQL Server query profiler inside JetBrains IDEs

SQL Server Profiler is deprecated, and setting up Extended Events by hand takes time. QueryScope captures what your application sends to SQL Server from inside the IDE, using the data source you already have configured.

What QueryScope for SQL Server does

Extended Events capture

Completed batches and RPC calls from SQL Server 2022, through the IDE's configured data source.

The numbers that matter

SQL text with duration, CPU, logical reads, writes and row counts.

Filter and group

Filter by database, application, login and minimum duration, and group by query hash.

Optional events

Statement, error, attention and deadlock events when you need them.

Export

CSV or JSON.

Cleans up after itself

A temporary, bounded server session that is removed when you stop.

Privacy

QueryScope runs inside your JetBrains IDE. Captured events are processed locally: there is no Karelia Labs capture backend and no telemetry.

It connects to SQL Server through the data source you configured in the IDE, creates a temporary Extended Events session for the capture and removes it when you stop.

Captured queries stay in the IDE until you clear them, or until you export them to CSV or JSON yourself.

Purchases, trials and licenses are handled by JetBrains Marketplace under JetBrains' own terms and privacy policy.
